Subscription Terms

hearOS — Tinnitus Awareness & Personalized Sound Routines

These Subscription Terms govern your purchase of and access to hearOS Premium, operated by ICI Tech Teknoloji A.Ş. They form part of our Terms of Service. In the event of conflict, these Subscription Terms prevail for subscription matters.

1. Subscription Plans

Free Plan

Core hearOS features are available at no charge. No payment method is required for the Free Plan.

hearOS Premium

hearOS Premium is a paid subscription unlocking the full feature set, including advanced frequency matching sessions, complete sound therapy library, full symptom diary history, detailed progress analytics, and Relief Studio.

Current pricing is displayed in your local currency in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region.

hearOS Premium is a single-user subscription and may not be shared or transferred.


2. Free Trial

Eligibility

  • Available to new subscribers only — users who have not previously held a hearOS Premium subscription on the same Apple ID or Google account.
  • One free trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to access additional trials is prohibited.

How it works

  • The trial length is stated clearly before activation.
  • A valid payment method is required via the App Store or Google Play.
  • Your payment method is not charged during the trial period.
  • At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the applicable rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.

How to cancel before being charged

Important: Deleting the app, logging out, or contacting us does not cancel your trial. Cancel through the App Store or Google Play.

3. Billing and Payment

  • All billing is handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We never receive or store your card details.
  • Subscription is billed on the date of original purchase (or trial conversion date).
  • Subsequent renewals are billed on the same date each month or year.
  • Failed payments may result in suspended Premium access until the payment is resolved.
  • Applicable taxes are determined and collected by Apple or Google.

4. Auto-Renewal

hearOS Premium renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

  • Monthly: renews every 1 month
  • Annual: renews every 12 months

The renewal charge is applied within 24 hours before the end of the current period.


5. Price Changes

If we change subscription pricing:

  • We notify you in advance via in-app notice, email, or App Store / Google Play notification.
  • The new price takes effect at your next renewal date.
  • If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal date. Continuing to use hearOS Premium after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Premium access until that date with no prorated refund (except as required by law).


7. Refunds

All refund requests must go directly to the platform through which you purchased:

We do not issue refunds directly. EEA and UK consumers may have additional statutory rights — see Section 16.

We do not delete your data when your subscription ends.


9. Account Deletion vs. Subscription Cancellation

These are two separate actions.

Always cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account, or billing may continue.

10. Subscription Management via RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status within the app. RevenueCat receives only a pseudonymous customer ID and your subscription status — not your name, email, health data, or payment details. RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy


11. Platform-Specific Terms

Apple App Store (iOS)

  • The subscription agreement is between you and ICI Tech Teknoloji A.Ş. — not Apple.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or refunds beyond those required by law.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

Google Play (Android)

Your use of Google Play is governed by Google's Terms and Payments Terms of Service. Google Play is not a party to these Subscription Terms.


12. Promotional Offers and Discount Codes

  • Promotional pricing applies only for the period stated.
  • After the promotional period, your subscription renews at the standard rate.
  • Discount codes are single-use, non-transferable, and may not be combined unless stated.
  • Abuse of promotional offers (e.g., multiple accounts) is prohibited.

13. Subscription Transfers and Sharing

hearOS Premium is a personal, individual subscription. The following are not permitted:

  • Sharing account credentials with others
  • Transferring subscription to another person or account
  • Reselling or sublicensing access

Violation may result in immediate suspension without refund.


14. Service Availability

  • We aim for continuous Premium service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • hearOS requires an internet connection for all features.
  • Temporary unavailability due to maintenance or technical issues does not entitle you to a refund.

15. Changes to Plans or Features

We may add, modify, or remove features from any plan. If we make a material reduction to your current paid plan's features, we will notify you in advance and give you the option to cancel without penalty.


16. Consumer Rights — EEA and UK Users

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, the following additional terms apply and prevail over conflicting provisions to the extent required by mandatory law.

Right of withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK law, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting a subscription or free trial and accessing hearOS Premium features, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that:

  • You lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
  • For partial performance, you may be charged for the portion already provided.

To exercise withdrawal rights (where applicable), contact app@icitech.com.tr within 14 days of purchase.

Mandatory consumer protections

You retain all rights under your country's mandatory consumer protection law, including rights to satisfactory service quality and remedies for mis-described services. These cannot be waived.


17. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, including the Law on Consumer Protection No. 6502 and the Electronic Commerce Law No. 6563. EEA and UK consumers also retain applicable mandatory local consumer protections per Section 16.
