Cookie Policy

2026-06-02

This Cookie Policy explains how hearos.app uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage entries and pixels used for analytics or advertising measurement.

How we use cookies

Essential: required for language preference, consent state, and basic site security.

Analytics & marketing (optional): only after you click Accept on our cookie banner—may include Google Analytics / Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity to understand traffic and campaign performance.

We do not use optional cookies until you consent, except where strictly necessary.

Managing your choice

You can accept or reject optional cookies via the banner. To withdraw consent later, clear site data for hearos.app or use your browser’s cookie controls, then reload the page.

Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to the website.

Third parties

Third-party providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We recommend reviewing Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft privacy documentation if you enable these tools.

What optional tags do not receive

Even if you accept optional cookies, hearos.app does not pass tinnitus, hearing, symptom, or self-check data to Meta, TikTok, Google, or Clarity through pixels or tags.

Optional tools are limited to aggregate traffic and campaign measurement. Meta Pixel, when enabled by your consent, is configured without automatic advanced matching and sends only standard PageView and ViewContent events (no parameters)—not Purchase, Subscribe, Lead, custom events, or health-related data.
